Steel Tiger, My Fortunate, Ariel and St. Nicholas are some interesting names of the boats at Fisherman's Terminal. There are plenty of others too. It's always fun to look at the boats and their names and wonder how they were derived and what they really mean.

Oh, I love the pictuers of the boats. Yes, I'd like to know the story behind all those names. Each boat has a personality - just like their owners ! Thanks for sharing ! 'On Ya' - ma

A lot of boats are dedicated to loved ones. I live near a harbour (2nd natural largest in the world - Poole in Dorset). It's always so lovely to see the boats bobbing gently on the water and if it's a beatiful day so much the better. You're inspiring me to take my camera around but some people (like yourself!) just have a natural talent for capturing a great shot. You've got to have the Eye!
