Trip to Arizona

Took a Trip to Arizona a couple of weeks back and it was wonderful. Here are a few photos of flowers that I enjoyed while I was there.  Oct. 1 update:  The orange flowers are called Mexican Bird of Paradise...at least that is what I was told and the white flowers..I'm not sure probably white Tuberoses...:)

In The Repair Shop

Update: September 27, 2005:  I'm back now...with significantly fewer photos and other data files.  CompUsa really blew it.  They were supposed to make copies of my data files and ended up deleted 99% of them.  When they tried to recover them by running a recovery routine they were all corrupted and couldn't be opened.  One word to the wise...make backup discs of your data files and when you take your computer in it's worth the extra money to buy the extra hard drive or storage to have them copied first before any virus detection software is run...remember...backup is not the same as copy!  A copy is just that a copy...backup means something else to these computer people and I learned that the hard way....oh well, I got some more pictures so stay tuned!  :)  :)  :)

Just a short note that my computer needed a little repairing....getting hard drive completely cleaned off.   Hopefully I'll be back posting pics and entries in a few days.  :)

Update Sept 17, 2005:  Got computer back...missing tons of data files along with most of my photos...hopefully Compusa will figure it out.   They were supposed to back up all my files while fixing my partitioning problem.  More later....I'm thinking positive...:)

More Roller Blading

More roller blading day pictures...figured I should show you all the roller blades and my friend, Kar.  It was a gorgeous day and we had a great time.   The Seattle skyline is so beautiful and I know I'm lucky to live here.   It's hard to believe that just across the country in the Gulf of Mexico things can be so different.  My thoughts and prayers go out to all that were devastated by Hurricane Katrina.  I count my blessings and hope for the best for all those families in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama and Texas.....
