Ok, here is a fun idea for a birthday party...a hat party! Probably more fun for girls get together party but guys have fun hats too! Here is me with a hat I bought at party store. I won the best hat prize! Mother's and daughters attending.....it was fun...Ok so it was a tea party but, it's stilll a good idea...don't you think? :)

Can certainly see why you won..great hat.,,,,literally....I tried this idea with my daughte as we were going out in austin. As soon as she saw me, she said, 'Take that hat off! You look rediculous!" I obeyed but I did not agree....
that is a very good idea! I bet the variety of hats was so cool!
Tea Parties are the perfect time to have a hat contest. In the town I live in every year the Heritage Museum has a Mother's Day Tea and they always have a hat contest. Usually a decorated hat contest. The ladies love it and their creative skills just bloom like so many of the flowers they put on their hats. So cool. I have been the poet for this event twice now, it's fun.
